Elisha Obadiah Yakusack is a pioneer staff of Nigeria Police Mortgage Bank Plc, with over 20 years experience in Investment Banking, Mortgage and Microfinance Banking.

He has experiences on various aspects of banking ranging from Operations, Risk Management, Compliance, Human resources, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, Treasury management, Credit and Internal Control.

He commenced his professional career at Summit Finance Company ltd (Member of the Nigeria Stock Exchange) in 2003, a company with dual license to carry on both Money Market and Capital Market business, and later joined Pyramid Microfinance Bank Ltd, Rockshield Microfinance Bank Ltd, Cornerstone Savings & Loans Ltd (Mortgage Bankers), before joining Fokas Savings & Loans Ltd at the verge of transition of the Bank to Nigeria Police Mortgage Bank Plc, after the acquisition of its majority shareholding by the Nigeria Police Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd.

Elisha has participated in the preparation of strategic plans, Chaired Committees such as the Compliance Committee and Policy Manual Review Committee, being part of other committees such as the Annual General Meeting Committees of the Bank. He contributed in navigating the bank out of its negative retained earnings, was part of the staff that prepared the first policy manuals of the bank, pivotal in the request for final Operating license obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria and interfaced with regulators on routine examination and other regulatory matters.

He holds HND in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Lagos State University, Master’s degree in Finance, and almost completing a Ph.D degree programme in Finance at Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

He is a member of various professional bodies namely, Associate, Nigeria Institute of Management (ANIM), Associate, Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Member, Institute of Compliance of Nigeria amongst many.

Elisha is a volleyball player and enjoys intellectual discuss. He is happily married with children.
